This Cold Steel Walkabout is made from nearly indestructible polypropylene. Unlike wood, it’s highly impact resistant and weather resistant. It withstands inclement conditions that would cause a conventional stick to crack, warp or rot. The Walkabouts handsome wood grain texture provides an excellent grip without sacrificing comfort or ease of use and its simple one-piece construction makes it unbelievably tough while still remaining light enough to carry and use all day! Not meant to be used for medical purposes.

Cut it to length!
It it is too long just use a hacksaw to cut it shorter.

Cold Steel Walkabout Walking Stick
I received the Walkabout, and it was everything as described in the ad. At 6'1" the height was fine, construction great, but the issue was the round knob and its size. Even with larger hands, I had difficulty holding onto the knob. It was just large enough not to get a good feel, and it was smooth enough to make it hard to hold a grip. Picking up the stick to move it proved unwieldy. I only,however, tested it in the house, so as to not damage it in case I wanted to return it or resale it, so I didn't give it a thorough workout. This is a good looking walking stick/cane, well made and durable. My only issue with this is I am 5'7 and this cane is a little to small to grasp as a walking stick and to tall to
use as a cane, if you are under 5'5 ,you could use this as a walking stick or over 6'0 as a cane. otherwise its a little awkward to carry.
