Damascus Belt Knife with Bone Scales

Great quality and beautiful looking knife.

I bought this for my brother for his birthday.   It is his first Damascus wootz steel knife.   I had a hard time giving it to him,  I wanted it for myself.   The bone scales along with the grains in the steel are stunning.   It is a very beefy and powerful feeling blade.   I am highly impressed with the beauty of this blade.   My brother was blown away and he will cherish this knife.

Beautiful Knife< exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was quick three days< although when I opened the package the tip-guard fell out making me think that the blade was going to be broken, everything was fine. The post office had opened and inspected . Their was a post office seal on package. Hate the sheath, much to large and unprotected for the knife. Need one where the knife fits down ,leaving just a inch or two of the beautiful handle . Very happy with my purchase . William Harrison  .    

I'd been eyeing this blade for some time. I'm a sucker for bone scales & damascus anyhow.
The knife arrives sharp, but not razor sharp, and has a nice heft to it.
My only significant complaint was the sheath I received. It was NOT the one pictured here, that swallows the knife up to the handle. The very thick leather sheath I got seemed too long for this blade, and only allowed knife insertion with the handle resting atop the sheath. The opening would only allow the blade to enter, not the thick bolster.
No matter. I found a better sheath on Amazon anyhow.

I have carried and used this knife every day for about two years on our 10 acre property.  I take care of my tools but I don't baby them.  This knife has stood up very well and handled everything I've needed it to do.  For Damascus, it holds an edge fairly well and is very easy to sharpen.  It is not hard at all to put an edge on this knife you can shave with.

beauty work of knife, good temper steel, comfort to hold handle, however the bottom of brass rivit had crack hairline bone  handle ,other than that fine, if it was american made would have costly our pocket, reasonaly price.. outstanding,
