OVERVIEW
This fine reproduction saber is a faithful copy of ones used. The hand forged blade is British military spec steel that will flex over 20° and return to true. The leather handle is wire wrapped. The brass, 3-branch guard is nicely hand chased and engraved, as is the brass pommel. The blade is beautifully etched with “U.S.,” and “E Pluribus Unum,” along with foliage and military trophies. Steel scabbard has brass throat, rings, and drag. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Can be personalized with 2 lines with up to 25 characters each on both the sword and the scabbard.

This sabre's handling compares very favorably to the originals, and has a very pleasing blade profile. The tip is well formed and the floral design of the hilt is also very well executed.

A very nice reproduction. The blade is robust and well made and the brass parts are nicely finished. I replaced the felt ricasso washer with a more correct leather one. This is a fine saber for the reenactor at a good price.
