This is one imposing firearm! Legend tells us that author Ned Buntline commissioned four M1873 revolvers and presented one to Wyatt Earp. Since then the Buntline Special has been immortalized in print, movies, and on TV.

This M1873 Single Action Buntline Special from Denix is an all-metal replica revolver with a black finish and features real wood grips, working action, and fires caps. Dummy Shells available separately.

As expected for the price point. Very good reproduction and since it was bought for FUN (obviously) my sensitivity to fit and finish was not very high
so far it works, BUT I can "hear" and feel potential problems in the near future so if possible, some surgery may be needed (grinding, clicking and such)
certainly NOT a "wall hanger", BUT LOUD and Smokey and annoying in a 19th century cool revolver!! PS: the cartridges are "funky" in that they are very little relative to the actual cartridge, BUT obviously fit the cylinder holes...get plenty MORE CAPS

The M1873 Single Action Buntline Special is finely crafted and a really nice replica.
I am very pleased with it and the service from Atlanta Cutlery. I would recommend
this particular piece to any replica gun and/or rifle collector. Very unique with the
12-inch long barrel. I am very pleased with the purchase and with Atlanta Cutlery.
