OVERVIEW
M1 Garand Parade Bayonet was made to the exact same specs and materials as the famed originals, but with beautiful chromed steel fittings for dress, parade, ceremonies, etc. Used by all branches of service and Military schools after WWII and still being used today.
Scabbard is issue OD green, but features matching chromed steel parts for a handsome set. Original black grips.

The product appearance is excellent, but I needed to do a great deal of work to the crude production to make it fit the rifles. Had it not been the fact that I am a gunsmith and armorer with a machine shop, I doubt the work could be done. both the barrel hole was too small and considerable grinding and filing was necessary in the lug channel as well as the latching piece..

The bayonet looked nice with good chrome plating but it would not fit any of my rifles until I ground out the inside of the barrel hole which took about 30 minutes to get right. Will not buy another one!

Bayonet itself is ok as long as you don't want to attach it to a rifle. The only way I got it to go onto my m1 was to bang it with a hammer and even then it would not go on all the way. The scabbard is of extremely poor quality. I realize that it is a reproduction but for the price you'd think it would have been a little better. All in all I was very disappointed with this purchase.
