Nice bayonet - I think.
I finally received my order 05/18/1021 yes, it was a long wait, but looks and feels well worth it. Mine has a one Heck of an edge; this thing is sharp!
I am going to have to perform some "smithing" on the bayonet lug on the 1897 heat shield in order for it to completely lock on since it's too tight to slide completely on. This seems to be the opposite problem of what some older models described by reviews.
It should work out OK if I am careful!

1917 enfield bayonet review
I ordered the 1917 enfield bayonet recently and received it about 2 months later. The fit and finish was good and it got the 1917 eddy stone rifle that I have quite well. I am pleased and will likely order other items in the future.

Decent reproduction in looks but not function
Overall, very impressive looking and seems to be a quality piece. However, it does wiggle when mounted on my Bull Creek Arms Winchester 97 trench gun. The ring portion fits fairly snug, and the spring clip portion seems to have enough tension, but it is in this area that the wiggle is noticeable. It's not a deal breaker considering the price of the reproduction versus an original, but I would have preferred a more secure fit. It is good for display purposes, however.

Fit perfectly, beautifully blued and oiled. Fit my P14 303 winchester built enfield perfectly. I gently polished the wood and metal with oiled 1000 grit to give it a more age appropriate appearance. Great reproduction with a solid positive lock.

Nice reproduction. Bayonet fits in the scabbard well and does not rattle around like the M1 I purchased. I would like it better if it had an edge on the blade.

The quality of this bayonet was excellent, it fits my 1917 Enfield perfect. However, if you want to order this you may want to check if it's in stock first as the wait was pretty long to get it. Great bayonet though, thanks!
