Beautiful, but
Mine came blunt as a hammer, with an ''edge'' so thick and rounded it's practically like buying a steel blank. It's going to take a lot of work and the removal of a ton of material to even get anything close to resembling an edge on this. Beautiful and hefty piece though, it's just that for that price I'd expect at least a courtesy factory edge, but there's no bevel *at all*, it's like it's unfinished.

Fantastic Knife
This thing is fantastic and I am really happy with it.  Little pricey but Heavy duty and well worth it.  Solid construction  and very well made.  A  great addition to any knife or military collection.

Leviathan
I go along with Sam:  this thing is a moose.  Rock solid and ready for bear.  Yes, it's heavy but it can baton through sheet metal.  One of the finest knives I've ever encountered.  Sharp and easy to sharpen.  2 thumbs up!!

Very Authentic
I happen to have a good friend whose Dad served during WW2.  The Dad was able to bring back one of these German Diver's Knife as a souvenir.  This reproduction is as close to the original as can be.  The only downside is that the thing weighs a ton (being all metal).  In the water the weight wouldn't matter.  On Land, it's a moose.
