Francesca Medieval Axe

This Francesca axe is a beautiful example of a type of Frankish weapon used during the earlier part of the Middle Ages. Carried by Germanic armies into battle, they were used in hand-to-hand combat, as well as a lethal throwing weapon.

Our version, hand-forged and manufactured by the expert blacksmiths at Windlass Steelcrafts, has a rustic forge finish on the blade and the curved wooden shaft, making this feel great in your hand. Replacement Shaft Available.
