I've used and trained with 3 different batons. (6 years as an MP) This model has what is probably the best weight/length ratio I've tried. Though I have and use my CCW, a firearm shouldn't be your go to response to every threat. This fits very discreetly in my car door, ready to answer the call if I'm about to be a road-rage victim.
