Dragon Short Sword

Slightly different than your normal wakizashi, this stunning sword is one of our favorites. In fact, many of our staff own this beauty. And that says a lot with all the different swords we see and handle. The detailed parts are exquisite and have antiqued gold and silver accents. A dragon weaves his way around many of the cast metal parts. The handle has a traditional Japanese cotton wrap over real ray skin. The wooden saya is reddish brown with black flecks and genuine black buffalo horn accents. The unique, carbon steel blade is substantial with a sweeping fuller, false top edge and a spine that is over 1/4" thick. The weight of this short blade makes it devastating in a swing and still light enough for lightning fast follow up blows. Includes sword bag & box, cleaning oil, wood stand and certificate.
