Damascus Barbershop Razor with Camel Bone Scales

Beautiful Razor, HOWEVER, it arrived with a perfectly ROUND edge on it, round like a piece of pipe,  will require extensive sharpening to be able to shave with it, as is, won't even start to cut a piece of paper, the edge is quite literally nicely rounded over.
The other Damascus razors I have purchased here arrived ready to shave with, requiring only a few strokes on the strop to have a perfect edge. This one will require starting with a 200 Grit water stone, setting the edge angle, then working up to a 12,000 grit water stone, then stropping before it is ready to shave with. But the handles, blade, jimping on the liner, etc. are beautiful.

The thickness of the blade and the fit and finish of the assembled unit is impressive.  Needs a good sharpening upon receipt, but, good out of the box.

I was surprised it was a double-edged razor. The weight of the razor is good + gives good control. Looks awesome.
