Many are familiar with the swords of Japan and their quality, but not many are aware of the Japanese knife and more specifically, the Japanese folding knife. The Daburu Japanese Folder is a duel folding knife based on historical relics from ancient Japan.
This knife has red bone scales and features two unique blade styles both with a rough forged look and made of 1065 carbon steel. Fully functional, this knife will impress.

This is a quality knife! I've found descriptions of the 2 blade types as similar to those used in woodworking by the Japanese masters of timber frame construction & other wood trades.They use very sharp blades-such as these-when scoring cutlines on timber joining intersections; instead of sometimes in- accurate pencil lines.( Both blades have a flat side & is laid alongside a workpiece to score it). The knife is easy to use, & with 2 different blades, versatile. Very sharp, well made. The lever ends might be hard on pocket bottoms, so if carrying when working, it 'd be advisable to use a pouch. This wasn't included with the knife, but there's many available for low cost. Thanks for the great knife! MMc
