OVERVIEW
This authentic, hand made replica is hand forged and fully tempered of 1095 high carbon steel. Coupled with original handle and sheath materials to ensure it performs exactly as the originals did. Flexible, ornate blade and leather grip wrapped with brass wire. This faithful reproduction of the Boyle, Gamble, and McFee sword is a beauty! The blade etching is even more detailed than on the old ones, with the heroic "C.S.A.", cannon and battle flag all well done. The brass fittings are beautifully hand-finished with precise detail. Pleasantly Surprised
I recall purchasing my first AC swords some thirty years or so ago. Was reasonably impressed with the product at that time although the brass hand guards were a bit rough, in my opinion. I had to do some filing and polishing to get them they way I wanted. Fast forward to receiving recently purchased Confederate Staff sword. Pleasantly surprised to see how well made it was. No attention on my part needed. Amazing value even if they were twice the price.

"Rebel" That's Me!
This sword is elegant, smooth, and ready for action. I own many edged weapons and am pretty good at judging the quality of weapons, and this sword it the "real deal", I would not hesitate one second taking this sword into battle, definitely Five Stars.
