I generally will carry two knives if I'm carrying a folder. One smaller, thinner, flat ground carbon steel blade that is kept razor sharp; and one larger, stouter stainless blade for beating up. They see a lot of use. Shortly before visiting with a friend my stainless folder was stolen. Few months later, that friend died. I carried that knife for a while, then decided to retire it. I settled on one of these. This is what I replaced it with and I have never been happier with a pocket knife. It meets all my expectations for this kind of knife. In a pinch, I've trusted this tool with things I wouldn't have tried with any other folder that's been in my hands. The blade steel is great. No play in the lock. Lost it the other day and missed it in a way I don't normally feel about lost things. I found it, but I'm still getting another.
