Review of: WWI Trench Mace

What a brutal tool - I love it. It is very well made and I think it would hold up in battle well too. Between the hefty weight of it and the end piece,  I wonder how effective it was on an enemy wearing a helmet. Any poor soul not wearing a helmet would have been down permanently with the first blow. It is going on my wall of classic weapons.

Review of: WWI Trench Mace

This thing is solid and well made. This is a real weapon that you could use to hit things with . It isn't just a showpiece. Granted if you start hitting rocks or something it might damage it but for it's intended use it is the real deal. It is a straight up murder stick. It varies from the original in that the handle is round and somewhat wide rather than oval like a hammer, and the cog is fitted from the front end rather than sliding up the handle so it could be removed like the originals. This cog is fixed with what appears to be a steel pin that is fitted all the way through the cog. It isn't going anywhere it seems very secure and well constructed. The handle is 17" long and 1-1/4" in diameter. The cog is 2-3/4" in diameter and just over 1-1/2' in height. It weighs 2.4 pounds and is labeled as made in India. I couldn't be happier with my WW1 Trench Mace. It is awesome.
