Nice bayonet but the scabbard is black.
High quality and very lethal looking. A Winchester 97 pump with one of these on the end should scare anybody!

I had my 1907 bayonet sharpened and I must say it was worth the wait and the $15 charge. I just expected the leather body of the scabbard to be O.D. green instead of basic boring black.

It's not a decoration
I bought 2 of this model and 2 butcher blade bayonets.  They are solid and well made.  The steel seems of good quality (though I'm not going to test them on a rock wall, but they look and feel as if that's the only way to break them).  This model is not heavy or bulky, I think graceful is a good synonym.  I wanted something that Bruce Willis would've chosen to go back into the basement to save  Ving Rhames with in Pulp Fiction.  Real, not a decoration.

Looks great, very well sharpened (cut myself on opening)scabbard is a little lose, would not trust it to hang up side down, a bit tight to fit on my bayonet lug but fixable. over all not bad.
